Better MES and LIMS Software. ToolTrack is a solution from Chain Reaction Systems that comes in two flavors: Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Lab Information Management System (LIMS). Thus we refer to our two products as ToolTrack MES and ToolTrack LIMS. ToolTrack was developed for manufacturing and R&D businesses that want to improve traceability, increase efficiency and reduce costs, but also don't want to break the bank by upgrading to a modern solution. While Chain Reaction Systems began in the semiconductor industry, ToolTrack has been successfully deployed in a variety of industries such as medical device, metals processing, discrete assembly and job shops. In addition to being built from scratch by people who've spent their entire careers in manufacturing and R&D operations, ToolTrack was also built to be deployed in a short amount of time (4 - 8 weeks) and for a very reasonable cost. If you've been shopping for an MES or LIMS and been surprised by how much they can cost, please check out our pricing page and talk to us about a free ToolTrack demo & trial.
Of course! Once we've shown you an introductory demo of ToolTrack MES or ToolTrack LIMS via web meeting, we'll provide a free account in our sandbox environment which is the same system that we use in the demo. You'll be able to check out the extensive functionality and reporting features for yourself, at your own pace, without annoying sales people distracting you. When you're ready to discuss the details of how ToolTrack could be implemented within your business, we'll be happy to provide a follow-up demo with a larger audience or discuss customizations. The bottom line is that you'll know exactly what you're getting with ToolTrack before making any decisions.
SaaS or On-Premise. The most popular method for deploying ToolTrack is our private cloud which you could also refer to as a "hosted solution" or "Software as a Service" (SaaS). With SaaS, you get a dedicated web application tailored to your manufacturing or lab environment without having to worry about any of the IT infrastructure. We take care of the servers, database, backups, security and performance monitoring. We also take the security of your data VERY seriously (see below). The main requirement for SaaS is to have a stable internet connection; it doesn't have to be a very fast connection (T1 will be fine) but it should be stable. If you don't have a stable connection or if you'd simply prefer to manage the IT side yourself, we can also deploy ToolTrack on-premise.
Yes! We understand and appreciate that your manufacturing and lab data is a critical part of your company's intellectual property. ToolTrack runs on our private cloud infrastructure utilizing enterprise-grade data centers based in the U.S. with SOX, HITRUST, PCI-DSS & ISO 2700-1 Compliance Certifications and a Critical Infrastructure Rating of N+2. Furthermore, our cloud was architected from scratch and built with our own hardware that isn't shared with anyone else, unlike other SaaS offerings. You always know where your data is physically located and who's managing it. Furthermore, your data is both logically and physically isolated from other customers. But if you prefer, ToolTrack can also be deployed on-premise.
You Do. Even if you cancel your ToolTrack subscription we'll give you a full export of your data at no extra cost. We do this for two reasons: first, it's your data and you should always have control over it. Second, we're very confident that you'll love ToolTrack once it's implemented and we want to remove any possible concern about trying it out.
Simple. All you need is an HTML5 compatible web browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) on any device, and internet connectivity. You can use Windows, Linux, Mac/iOS or Android... tablets work very well too! There is no need to install or maintain a clunky proprietary thin-client or Java. Whether we deploy ToolTrack as a hosted solution or on-premise with your own server, your users will access the system via web browser which makes for superior accessibility
Transparently. ToolTrack MES / LIMS is packed with functionality and features. But if you need changes to the functionality, or simply want to add new capabilities for your specific business processes, we support that with up-front and controlled pricing. You won't pay for customizations until you know exactly what you're getting and your users have signed off. The customizations are fully supported as well! The best part is that we'll develop and implement these new/changed features without interrupting your users due to the incredible flexibility of our solution.
Nope! And no term contracts for the SaaS deployment! Again, we're confident that you'll love ToolTrack once it's implemented and we want to remove any possible concern about trying it out.
We're Different. We believe the best MES & LIMS software is designed and developed by people who've lived in real-world manufacturing and R&D for decades, and not just read about it. We believe that implementing MES or LIMS isn't overly expensive or cumbersome when starting with a flexible baseline supporting rapid customization out of the box. We constantly engage with our customers and put that feedback directly into ToolTrack improvements. Our experienced system architects handle your implementation from the first introductory call through the entire deployment, so we don't waste money on a bloated sales staff. We also rely on our happy customers to spread the word about us which allows us to keep our marketing budget small. All of this adds up to a fully featured solution that we can offer for less than 50% of what our competitors charge. We know it sounds too good to be true, but we would love the opportunity to prove it to you!
None! Our main ToolTrack MES competitors are Camstar Systems, Critical Manufacturing, Eyelit and WIPtrac. We encourage you to check them out and see how we compare on functional capabilities, ease of use, manufacturing domain expertise and pricing. We think you'll understand why we're not afraid of our competition.
